Occultation released The Wild Swans' first single in over 20 years, English Electric Lightning b/w The Coldest Winter For A Hundred Years,as a limited, numbered edition of 900 copies on 10" vinyl in early 2009. Copies can still be ordered in the Occultation Shop.

The band's second Occultation single, Liquid Mercury b/w The Wickedest Man In The World was released in November 2009 and and is also still available from the Occultation Shop.Initial copies iincluded a special signed photo insert (just a few left now) and a promo CD is also available to buy as an optional extra, although only to purchasers of the vinyl version. There are also special prices available for purchasing together with our other singles, on the Shop's Packages page.

The Wild Swans are also currently working on a new album, The Coldest Winter In A Hundred Years, which we hope to release later in 2010.

A contact sheet from an original Wild Swans photo shoot from the coldest winter has been unearthed and is on display in all its icy glory here.

The Wild Swans Live

Following the triumphant shows at Static Gallery in Liverpool in July 2009, the band have just announced that they will be returning to the scene of this particular crime (i.e. Static) on 11th December 2009. Tickets are now on sale at the Wild Swans own website here but are expected to sell out very quickly as those July performances created a rushing in the wind, a majestic beating of wings as the Swans take flight. So book now to avoid disappointment.
