DIONE7DB013 - The Wild Swans Tracks In Snow EP

Dark Times – Originally written as a Northern Soul tune, this upbeat song started life in Henry Priestman’s Gossamer Dome studio in North Wales (that’s Henry, Ricky and I on manly backing vocals), and was later worked up at Parr Street Liverpool.

Disintegrating – Written eight years ago when I was at a very low ebb, this song first appeared in acoustic form on my Wickedest Man In The World/Man In A Burning Anorak 2 download-only album. I can see this track being used in a Richard Curtis film, right at the point where the romantic leads have their clichéd falling out and before the highly unlikely clichéd happy reunion ending. It sounds vaguely romantic but it’s just the opposite really.

Poison – Bitterly dedicated with love to my first serious girlfriend KB who broke my heart so effectively that I’m still writing about it more than 30 years later.
